Abstract

MIKULIC, Isabel María; MUINOS, Roberto  and  CRESPI, Melina. Personal Growth, Transcendence Needs, Social Networks and Environment: A study of Perceived Quality of Life related with different life stressful life events from an integrative and ecological aproach. Anu. investig. [online]. 2007, vol.14, pp.00-00. ISSN 1851-1686.

Perceived quality of life assessment of persons undergoing stressful life events such as imprisonment, diseases, divorce, close relatives loss or forced migration, has received relatively little attention in the literature. Athough there is no consensus on the definition of QOL and its measurement, it is generally accepted that QOL is a multidimiensional construct. In previous studies (Mikulic, Muiños, 2004) it has been showed PQOL Inventory design and validation and 0SEM applied to verify factorial structure. The Second- Order CFA suggested that QOL may be measured by five underlying factors: environment, social networks, personal growth and transcedence needs. The aim of this study is to estimate the existence and magnitude of the latent identified factors in the quality of life perceived by participants undergoing different stressful life events.

Keywords : Quality of life; Networks; Environment; Transcendence.
