This work tries to interrogate what use makes Freud of the case of the Man of the Wolves, concerning the question for the efficacy. We understand efficacy as "the worry for the results obtained with the analysis in the light of the conception of the cure ", and its implies " articulating the questions: what looks, how there is achieved, what is achieved and how it happens ". We will cross the Freudian text to look for answers around these questions. We are interested in placing Freud in debate with the science of his epoch, realizing of the position that he itself is constructing around his study object.
