Abstract

Anu. investig. [online]. 2008, vol.15. ISSN 1851-1686.

This paper part of a bibliometric study of psychiatric terms mentioned in the titles of papers published in Anales de Biotiopología, Eugenesia y Medicina Social. The extracted sample of the bibliometric analysis is compared with the diagnosis used in clinical Histories of the Hospicio de las Mercedes between years1930 and 1945. An analysis of the institutional application is made that had the diagnoses used in this medical publication that had between its main editors to Gonzalo Bosch, director of the Hospicio between years 1931 and 1947. It is observed like the changes that are implemented in the classification of diseases were impelled from the Argentinean Association of Biotipology, Eugenesia and Social Medicine through the introduction of the publication in the psychiatric field. The results that entail these changes in the psychiatric scope and the modifications are analyzed that concern to the field of psychology in the Argentine.
