Abstract

BENBENASTE, Narciso; ETCHEZAHAR, Edgardo Daniel  and  PETIT, Luciano. Psychological profile of the population that legitimates populist regime. Anu. investig. [online]. 2009, vol.16, pp.315-321. ISSN 1851-1686.

The aim is to show an association between the notes of a populist discourse and the typical features of the psychological profile of a population likely to be the subject of that discourse. The speech is a crucial dimension of the populist regime. The link idealized leader - people became more crucial for the practice of political institutions. The working method is based on the ideal types of Max Weber, however the features described in the psychological profile of the population is based on multiple empirical research carried out under the Project UBACyT since 1998 and in particular since 2002.
