Resumen

TAJER, Débora et al. Critical Road of Women's Health: Integrality and Gender equity in Health practices among Women in Buenos Aires City. 4th part. Anu. investig. [online]. 2010, vol.17, pp.321-328. ISSN 1851-1686.

The work presented here is tool developed in a research project that is still in course. It consists in a scale built by the research team in order to measure the integrality and gender equity in the discourses and practices of health care professionals and users of "health arena" (La Rosa, 2004) programs in Buenos Aires city studied by this research, whose middle term conclusions have been published (Tajer y otros, 2007, 2008, 2009). The decision, of publishing by separate the scale, was based on the assumption that can be a useful tool to be used in other health care problems not included in our research, where gender perspective is not yet sufficiently included. That concerns both the theoretical framework as every day practices of health care professionals and users served in health services. The aim is that it can be used as a tool for evaluating public health policies (Tajer, 2004) (Sen G, Östlin P y col, 2009). The scale is composed by four indicators: Integrality, Gender Equity, Autonomy and Citizenship and their values: Integral, Semi-Integral, transitional and assistencialist.

Palabras clave : Gender equity; Integrality; Health.
