"University Curriculum and Evaluation: Discourses, Subjects and Practices" in this paper it is intended to characterize the subject of the College curriculum through the dominant discourse. We want to identify how its construction through various regulations, taxation, valuations, theoretical concepts and requirements involved in the formation of the curriculum is geared, and what antagonisms and resistance across the field. The dominant discourse represents the axis of reference social semiotics which signs and linguistic values of a community, at a given time, mean (Raiter, 2008). We believe that the signs and dominant values in the academic field are based on technocratic rationality legitimized by the international bodies responsible for defining the standards of quality required to assess universities seeking to participate in the global world. We maintain that the discursive field is an instance of the power struggle. There are the demands of the social sectors and it is there where are deined the requirements of university education.
