The aim of this paper is to present some ideas worked in the research project called "Satisfaction of the subject structure". The subject, the truth and their relationship with the ego, is the topic that I have chosen. I start developing the graph of desire created by Lacan to show the subject's relationship with language. Then I will try to igure out what happens to the subject when faced with an Other that is not complete. Finally I will inquire the truth in psychoanalysis, and analyze its relationship with the ego, as distinguished from narcissism.
