The paper presented here shows one way to enter our current research project UBACyT 20020100100016 for the period 2011-2014 "Versions of the father in the last period of Jacques Lacan's work Lacan (1971-1981)": the question about the pluralization that leads from the name of the father to the names of the father in the teaching of Lacan. This time we distinguish two waves in that movement of pluralization and we stop then, especially, in the second to examine how this ends up "the names of the father" a clinical notion, when it propose them as quarters links that tied symbolic, imaginary and real.
