This paper intends to demarcate the public institutions in which psychoanalysis took place; in turn it is realized of the mode of praxis registration either through an oficial document of the institution: clinical record or from the publication of clinical cases. This shall be addressed to contextualize the historical periods addressed as well as public institutions in which psychoanalysis takes place. It places the work of authors who carried out this practice in specific contexts. The institutions are: Hospital San Roque, Hospicio de la Mercedes, Hospital de Niños, Hospital Vélez Sarsield; Colonia Nacional de Alienados, Hospital Alvear and Hospital Durand.
