Abstract

AISENSON, Diana; VIRGILI, Natalia  and  POLASTRI, Graciela. Experiences construction, future anticipations and subjective transformations in youth who are finishing secondary school. Anu. investig. [online]. 2013, vol.20, n.1, pp.105-113. ISSN 1851-1686.

We present a study about the sense of everyday experiences that build the youth who are finishing secondary school, the relationship they establish with their anticipations for their future and life projects and the subjective and social processes that they mobilize. In order to expand our understanding of this transition, depth interviews were conducted with youth, focusing on three psycho-social areas : a)Family, b)Study, Work and Leisure and c) Friends, Couple and Significant others. In particular, we were interested in analyzing the diversity of relationships that the youth establish between the events in their present and the past that they recognize as significant in their biography and the anticipations of future and construction of their life projects. The content analysis allowed us to identify self-recognition processes and identity transformations. This study is a contribution to the theory and practice of psychology of guidance.

Keywords : School experience; youth; life projects; identity.
