Resumen

This paper arises from questions raised within the Department of Clinical Psychopedagogy (Psychology Faculty, UBA), especially in the clinical and research areas. Its main objective is to attend a theme latent in the clinical psychology of children with learning disorders that takes place in the service center of the chair: the deployment and restrictions of imaginative processes of children with difficulties in symbolization, which is needed for a complex and heterogeneous symbolic production. It shall also include the impact of restrictive symbolic deployment brings to school learning in those children. Finally the presentation will be illustrated with clinical vignettes drawn theoretical diagnosis and treatment of a patient to account for the initial restrictive characteristics of symbolic production, and changes found during treatment, particularly of her graphic and discursive production.
