The aim of this study is to verify the psychometric properties of the Children´s Strengths and Virtues Questionnaire (I.V.yF. Children) which purpose is to evaluate the 24 character´s strengths approached by the Peterson and Seligman (2004) Values in Action classification. The sample was formed by 518 students between 10 and 12 years old, belonging to the fifth, sixth and seventh grade of primary education of seven private schools and one public located in Buenos Aires city and outskirts of Buenos Aires. Exploratory factor analysis enabled the extraction of six factors which explained 46.15% of the variance. Confirmatory factor analysis showed an adequate fit to the model.
