Abstract

SAMBUCETTI, Andrea et al. Mental health in children migrated: approach to the study through Rorschach. Anu. investig. [online]. 2013, vol.20, n.1, pp.403-408. ISSN 1851-1686.

This communication is part of the research: "The effects of migration on different age groups" (UBACyT 2011-2014), directed by Prof. Alicia Passalacqua. The aim of this work is to convey quantitative and qualitative aspects relating to the act of migrating, obtained in a small sample of children: 9 cases, between 6 and 12 years, of both sexes. The instruments used are the Rorschach and application of Ego Functions Scale Reality (EFYR) and Suicide Scale for Adults (ESPA). The low values of children in adapting EFYR scale, reveals the difficulties in accommodating the new medium. Scale Mean ESPA is 10.22 points, which is not self-destructive risk evidence. Also, the theme of suicide in children is an issue to be further investigated, due to the increased risk in this age group.

Keywords : Migration; Rorschach; Children; Mental health; Suicide.
