In this paper we present the main lines and the progress of the Plan of scholarship: "Recovery medical records in psychiatry and psychoanalysis. Towards a clinical categorization of female homosexuality "(R: 2878/11).  Accordingly, is founded importance and novelty of integrate at  the study’s field of psychiatry and psychoanalysis in relation to female homosexuality, the analysis of the clinical material as a privileged source of information for the conceptual construction of the clinical phenomenon. The various clinical sources which are analyzed in this article have relevant methodological value, not only for demonstrate theoretical and conceptual guidelines that guide its construction or the scientific framework and social context which determines it, but also as direct testimony of a true praxis, which does not always coincide with the prevailing paradigms of his time.
