The knowledge of the work of Lev Vigotsky  (1896-1934) outside USSR was enabled by translations made in the 1960´s. In the past thirty years, his ideas extended and, were included in academic productions, even though there have been differences in appropriation modes. This article corresponds to a research the reception and use of Vigotsky´s ideas within the academic community. The general goal is: Investigate the reception and appropriation of Vigotsky´s ideas and how they appear in both oral and written productions within the academic world in Argentinian Psychology. This project´s design is exploratory-descriptive. We will conduct a qualitative and quantitative analysis on primary sources, interviews with key informants and on secondary sources, written productions made within Argentina´s academic faculty. Presents an advance on the first reception of Vygotsky in Argentina, through the voices of some of the protagonists and the written legacy contributed by others.
