Abstract

This paper is part of Scientific Programming UBACyT 2011-2014 Project "Fights for and in territory: borders on the move and citizenship practices". Their purposes are: To identify needs expressed by people and/or groups participating in ights of socio-territorial and socio-spacial movements. To analyze public policies intended to grant social rights and their eventual way of regulation of that kind of conflicts. Design is multiple, intentionally selected, case study. The qualitative method it's a participatory action research (PAR). We analyze a cooperative of environmental promoters - ex paperboard pickers - in the Villa Crespo neighborhood of Buenos Aires (CABA), "El Corre Caminos" (The Roadrunner), focusing on the identity transformations of its members, product, at least in part, of a political action that is linked to the environmental care.
