Abstract

VAZQUEZ, Andrea. Stigmatized and excluded: the social media and theme of drugs: Analysis of the holders of newspaper articles means selected national figure. Anu. investig. [online]. 2014, vol.21, n.1, pp.251-257. ISSN 1851-1686.

The objective of the study is to analyze the presence of stigmatizing selected newspaper articles conceptualizations of a national graphic medium. The stigma produces groups of people who are conditioned to the exercise of citizenship rights denied meeting. One of these groups, set up drug users and drug addicts. Several studies have analyzed the importance of the media in spreading and reinforcing stereotypes about drug addiction. Reducing stigma and discrimination of drug use and drug addiction, is fundamental to the development of inclusion policies from a logic of respect for human rights.
