The article is the result of sustained research we have been conducting since 2008 under a series of UBACyT projects. This route allows us to address an issue that resonates with many of the current developments in the field of Lacanian psychoanalysis and outside of it. It is to interrogate the ways of today´s suffering, from recent conceptualizations within the psychoanalytic field about feminization of contemporary life.
