The present age is governed by mutations that have taken place in the symbolic order. Mutations that correspond to the fall of the classic figures of authority and of certain ideals that served as regulators of social ties as well as the prevalence of technological and consumption things as a fundamental stimulus of life in the city. Prevailing technological objects that come into play look, producing a “seeingness” that challenges privacy and fades secret function in particular. It is an “all-see for all.” Simultaneously, we have a proliferation of paradigmatic symptomatic forms of this era, among which we locate certain anorexias, bulimias, drug abuses, and “panic attacks”. Our hypothesis is that there is a causal link between the own seeingness of the time and the effects of panic disturbing the physical intimacy and proliferate as current symptoms. It will be therefore, in this paper, to verify the relationship between the presence of the all-seeing eye, which in its urgent interpellation of privacy fading determines the function of the secret, and the effect of concomitant panic.
