The article shows the theoretical foundations and the scope envisaged of a recently approved research entitled "Psychology Academic Programs at the University of Buenos Aires between 1896 and 1957: contextual landscapes, discursive tensions and the signs of professionalization". The project aims to fully relieve the academic Psychology programs at the University of Buenos Aires, between 1896 and 1957, systematize and analyze then from an academic, institutional, social and political contextualization. It is expected that the discursive framework to reconstruct the various institutional moments and address the disciplinary constitution of the psychology in our university. The result of the research provides the transfer of the results from a digital catalog available on the website (with the documentary collection and systematization), Faculty of Psychology, free access.
