The present historical research addresses the developments produced in relation to Experimental Psychology, Psychotechnics and Psychometrics during the period 1900-1945. The development of Experimental Psychology is investigated at the beginning of the 20th century, considering the role of international congresses, of debates and creation of laboratories and societies of Psychology. A route that extends to the productions in Latin America is presented to finally penetrate in the particular case of Argentina, where the influence of the Philosophy in referents of scientific Psychology like Loudet and Alberti in the decade of 1920 is analyzed. In the decade of 1930, it is studied the transition from Psychotechnic to Psychometrics through the work of Alberti at the Institute of Psychology. In the decade of 1940, it is investigated the coexistence of research in Experimental Psychology and Psychometry.
