This article proposes an intertwining between academic programs of psychology at the University of Buenos Aires with the various clinical institutions, criminological and periodicals in which the holders of the courses carried out their activities. A survey of programs, institutions and journals was performed. intretextual intra- and discursive analysis of primary sources is then carried out. This study warns that those in charge of psychology courses had a strong career in the framework of institutions whether clinical, criminological or educational area. It is that the relationship between the academic and the professional was present from the first teaching psychology courses. In turn this activity is reflected in production are published either through books or magazines.
