Abstract

MILSTEIN, Diana. Y los niños, ¿por qué no?: algunas reflexiones sobre un trabajo de campo con niños. Avá [online]. 2006, n.9, pp.49-59. ISSN 1851-1694.

As part of my field work during my research in educational ethnography I incorporated a group of children as active participants. This work experience promoted the possibility of producing social knowledge and made evident its polyphonic and multiauthors nature. Furthermore, it set the initial aims of the research project into new directions, it enriched information and modes of organizing it, it stimulated my own process of toking distance and it allowed to think about the relevance that some of the school ethnographies about children have. In this work I argue that it is necessary to incorporate the perspectives of children and I present the manner how I did it. I also expose some thoughts that connect the particular way in which children look, draw, tell, and read and my own process of anthropological distancing.

Keywords : Anthropology and education; Ethnography whit children; Anthropological distancing.
