The aim of this article is to analyze the way cirujeo- the informal collect of garbage- is made at Buenos Aires City. For this analyze it is consider the history of the activity, the relations between different actors and the forms in which the formal activity took ahead. It is emphasized in last military government period because since the implementation of a battery of actions by the military goberment the activity has been radically transformed.
