We propose an analytical exercise to perform an anthropological approach of two criminal lawsuits involving mothers charged of murder their own children. Our intention is to break down the judicial procedures in their different instances in order to recover the diversity of how the legal discourse, on intertextuality with other public discourses (psychiatric, police, media), found the character of "be mother" and establish the expected behavior of those subjectivities included for these discourses. The analysis allows both describe the mechanisms of hierarchy and displacement of sense, as the forms of activation and mobilization of values, symbolics order and moral configurations in this form of conflict resolution.
