Resumen
CATULLO, María Rosa y BRITES, Walter F.. Procesos de relocalizaciones: Las especificidades de los reasentamientos urbanos y su incidencia en las estrategias adaptativas. Avá [online]. 2014, n.25, pp.00-00. ISSN 1851-1694.
Undoubtedly, for his wide and extensive experience Leopoldo Bartolomé can be counted among the pioneer anthropologists in the study of the social impacts of dams. His studies were based not only on the emblematic case of Yacyreta Dam (Paraguay-Argentina) but also in the recording and analysis of numerous empirical cases, as well as on the interpretations that many social scientists made about the issue of displacement of population. Therefore, this paper focuses on what might be called the “pantheon” of Leopoldo J. Bartolomé, that is, those scientists who influenced him in a subject that he developed for over three decades. Today we can state that his work has inspired the training of many researchers, (us included) as well as it has opened a disciplinary gate for a wide range of problems that can be framed under the label anthropology of relocations.
