In this article we will describe and analyze two articles published by Leopoldo J. Bartolome at the beginning of the 1970s about millenarian movements that took place between 1905 and 1933 among aboriginal populations in Chaco region, Argentina. We will also revisit some academic discussions raised by different scholars during the time the article were published, about interpretation and explanation of such movements.
