This article aims to make a methodological reflection on the ethnographic practices developed in the framework of my doctoral thesis. To this end, throughout these pages I analyze first, my field work initiation, as a young ethnographer, and its development in the pilagá communities of the center of the Formosa province (Argentina). Moreover, this exercise is combined with a critical reflection on the re-orientations that were part of this process of knowledge about the pilagá territory and the feedback involved between my theoretical framework and the actors perspective.
