This paper shows reflections about the debates in relation to childhood from the dialogue with the field-work that we are developing in our research. The field to wich we refer is a children and youngsters’ orchestra of the south Buenos Aires conurbano and it depends of the Orchestra-School Program of the Province of Buenos Aires. In this way, from ethnographic material relieved and an analytical perspective, we will approach to the particular experiences and senses of childhood that unfold in the instances of the orchestra,trying to account -although not exclusively- the practices and senses displayed by the children and young people.
