The specific objective of this article is to identify and describe senses, appreciations and expectations around waiting, in the transit through university life in confinement. I propose here to explore and investigate from ethnographic analysis, the senses and expectations of waiting, always present in confinement but reformulated in narratives produced in the meeting of two worlds: the prison and the university. This work is part of my ongoing postdoctoral research, whose general objective is to identify learning practices and strategies in detained students, with a focus on the senses of these practices on the narratives built around educational rights, in a University Center that works within a Complex of the Servicio Penitenciario Bonaerense (SPB).
