Abstract

MANZANELLI, Macarena Del Pilar. SABER ESPERAR PARA SANAR HERIDAS COLECTIVAS. EL CASO DE LOS CHUSCHAGASTA. Avá [online]. 2020, n.36, pp.89-114.  Epub Dec 15, 2020. ISSN 1851-1694.

This work analyzes and describes the waiting process of nine years and eight months by the community-Pueblo Los Chuschagasta (current Department of Trancas, province of Tucumán, Argentina) for the trial that judged those responsible for the murder to be carried out from his traditional authority Javier Chocobar. Specifically, it shows that waiting constitutes a heterogeneous process, with the active participation of the Chuschagastas, who, by promoting different actions, have managed to circumvent and reconvert the inaction of the provincial judiciary and the moments of exhaustion. The reflections developed in this article are the product of ethnographic research work during the years 2015-2019.

Keywords : Wait; The Chuschagasta; Territorial conflicts; Judicialization.
