Abstract

GUZMAN UTRERAS, Eduardo. Concepciones académico-profesionales implícitas en programas de magíster en educación acreditados en Chile. Cienc. docencia tecnol. [online]. 2015, n.51, pp.153-173. ISSN 1851-1716.

The purpose of this article is to report findings from a research whose purpose was to reconstruct the implicit conceptions of the master programs in education in Chile, and whose quality has been accredited. A qualitative technique was used from the information obtained in the reports of accreditation of such programs. In the results is possible to observe a clear trend towards the professionalization of these education programs over those with academic definition on research, allowing generating discussion a regarding the actual educational intent of Masters in this area and the conceptions that it underlie.
