AYALA PEREZ, Teresa Cecilia. Redes sociales e hiperconectividad en futuros profesores de la generación digital. Cienc. docencia tecnol. [online]. 2015, n.51, pp.244-270. ISSN 1851-1716.

One of the features of the so-called information society (Yoneji Masuda, 1980) is permanent communication through technological support among the individuals that comprise it. The incorporation of the mass media and, subsequently, the overcrowding of Internet changed the way people communicate and one of its most important features is that it has been called hyperconnectivity (Quan-Haase and Wellman, 2005, 2006). The present work intends to review the concept and show some results in the project «Use of the Web, skills, motivation and attitude of students of pedagogy of the area of the Humanities with respect to ict and digital culture», development in Santiago de Chile, about the use of social networks by the future teachers of these disciplines, who belong to the digital generation or Net Generation (Tapscott 1997, 2009).

Keywords : Social networks; Hyperconnectivity; Technology; Net generation; Pedagogy students.
