We could say that industrial design is a discipline of «interface» that without pretending to be an axis around which all the others, is linked to all areas of knowledge. Is possible to criticize this statement, calling it even «self-centered», nevertheless, we believe that its essence lies in the interdisciplinary dialogue. Indeed, the epistemological structure of Industrial Design, has its origin in all areas of knowledge; surely for that and for being a relatively young discipline, it does not project a clear identity to society. However, this apparent chaos, is the main input for creative thinking that characterizes it.
