The precarious work is a persistent worldwide phenomenon. In Argentina, the socioeconomic and labour market crisis reflect this in their main statistic indicators. This article intends to characterize the precarious work performance in Argentina during the period from 2016 to 2019 based on Encuesta Permanente de Hogares (eph), to do that, we build a precarity index to measure the impacts in sociodemographic and labour market variables in employed population. To conclude, we found extreme and high levels of precarious work in woman, young workers (16-29 years old), people without qualification, people without instruction, people who work in small enterprises (up to five people) and people who work in commercial sector.
