Abstract

CAVALLERO, Pablo Adrián. Theodore Prodromus, Exiled Friendship (Ἀπόδημος Φιλία, Amicitia exulans): Spanish version and study. Circe clás. mod. [online]. 2017, vol.21, n.1, pp.1-23. ISSN 1851-1724.  http://dx.doi.org/10.19137/circe-2017-210101.

This paper offers expects to present a Spanish translation (apparently nonexistent) of the Amicitia exulans, a 12th century dramatic piece; and to offer same textual variants, notes and a study that hopes to characterize it, inside the dramatic genre, as a “Byzantine allegoric tragedy”, with typical features and as suitable for a real performance.

Keywords : Byzance; Theater; Tragedy; Theodore Prodromus; Amicitia exulans.
