The study aimed to draw a first draft of the geo-tourist potential of the region near the Federal District of Brazil, having as parameter the preliminary geological and geomorphologic potential of the region, as well as an analysis of public policy initiatives already underway. The results point to a growing demand technical and professional personnel from the geotourism and especially the need for investments in scientific research for the identification and investigation of criteria for identifying sites Geotourism.
