Environmental Economic Appraisal in the Tourism Field: Issues for Discussion! This article aims to present reflections on environmental economic valuation, in the tourism field, because it makes use of natural resources, both economic and social intentionality. The use of natural resources implies to rethink how economic valuation is performed, given the challenges that tourism faces in presenting his contribution and responsibility in environmental conservation. In questions on environmental economic valuation, some questions arise: How occurs, in tourism, the valuation of public goods, notably natural resources? The results showed that there are few or rare discussions on the subject, suggesting a new field of reflection and dialogue in the field of tourism, as in other fields, such as economics, ecology and management, we are moving towards discussions already present empirical cases. Therefore, it is believed that this article may provide information to answer these questions, with some models that can adapt to this important academic reflection on tourism and its relationship with the environment.
