Territorial Aspects of the Relationship between Male Prostitution and Sex Tourism in Acapulco. Traditionally one of the main tourist resorts in Mexico, and today the first of beach destinations in the country, Acapulco offers various spaces where sexual diversity and homoeroticism converge, and where sex for men with other men is readily available. This article discusses the relationship between tourism and sex work among men in Acapulco from the point of view of sex workers and from a spatial perspective. The emphasis is on the features and functions of these closed and open spaces, in relation to the homoerotic practices for sale.
