Between Business and Pleasure: Male Sex Tourism in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Male sex tourism in gay-friendly Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, is analyzed from the perspective of sex workers. The focus is on the reasons that lead these men to provide sexual services to other men. Beyond commercial transaction, the analysis dwells on the sexuality and identity of the sex workers. The author concludes that while sexual practices are negotiated, sexual identities are unchangeable, and relate to a common 'gay' lifestyle.
