Male Sex Work in Peru and its Interaction with the Demands of International Tourism. Tourism in Peru, one of the main tourist destinations in the world, is rapidly expanding. Although LGBT tourism is still incipient, other forms of tourism, such as business tourism, show an increasingly greater presence. This article explores the relationship between male sex work and tourism (especially male tourists) in the country's three major tourist regions: Lima, Cusco and the Amazonía, and evaluates the progress achieved in adapting this activity to international agreements on sex work, people displacement, public health and human rights.
