Over the recent years, terrorism has radicalized to the extent to vulnerate innocent global civilians who enjoy of leisure spots and tourist destinations. For some voices, modern consumption is the milestone that explains the clash between Occident and Orient while for others this evinces a rapid alternative to instill panic in the society. This special issue is oriented to respond a difficult question, Why terrorists target tourist destinations?
