Abstract

KELLER, Héctor A.  and  TRESSENS, Sara G.. First record for Argentina of two species of medicinal use. Bol. Soc. Argent. Bot. [online]. 2008, vol.43, n.1-2, pp.171-178. ISSN 1851-2372.

Cissampelos ovalifolia (Menispermaceae) y Rubus brasiliensis (Rosaceae) are reported for the first time for the Argentinian flora. These species are widely known in another countries because of its medicinal properties. Distinctive characters of the species are detailed and illustrated; information about distribution of species, vernacular names, uses and ecological observations are given.
