Abstract

Two genera of microlichens from Argentina are reported for the first time: Hafellia Kalb, H. Mayrhofer & Scheid. (Physciaceae lichenized Ascomycota), and Megaloblastenia Sipman (Megalosporaceae lichenized Ascomycota), represented by H. levieri (Jatta) Pusswald & Kantvilas and M. marginiflexa var. marginiflexa (Hook. f. & Taylor) Sipman respectively. The species and variety above mentioned are described and illustrated.
