Abstract

GOMEZ ROMERO, Silvia E.  and  GRAU, Alfredo. The Puya (Bromeliaceae) species in Argentina. Bol. Soc. Argent. Bot. [online]. 2009, vol.44, n.1-2, pp.175-208. ISSN 1851-2372.

Eighteen species are described and illustrated, two of them for the first time: P. novarae Varadarajan ex Gómez Romero & A. Grau and P. vervoorstii Gómez Romero & Grau. Two keys for identifying the species are presented, one of them based entirely on vegetative characters.
