Abstract

BAEZA, Carlos M; ROJAS, Gloria  and  RUIZ, Eduardo. The fundamental karyotype of Alstroemeria patagonia (Alstroemeriaceae). Bol. Soc. Argent. Bot. [online]. 2011, vol.46, n.3-4, pp.313-315. ISSN 1851-2372.

The karyotype of Alstroemeria patagonia Phil. from Chile was described. The species had a karyotype 2n = 2x = 16, and the haploid formula was 1m + 2sm + 1sm-sat + 2st + 1st-sat + 1t. The reported karyotype was very asymmetric (AsK % = 76.0).
