Abstract

The acne keloidalis is a chronic inflammatory disease of the hair follicles that is part of the so called scarring folliculitis. Usually affects men, blacks, on average ages of life. It is usually located in the neck, although it can be located in other regions of the scalp. It is a rare condition of unknown etiology, chronic course and difficult manage. In this article we present three cases and a brief review of the literature is performed.
