Abstract

GOMEZ-GONZALEZ, BA et al. BLASHKOID LICHEN PLANUS. AN INUSUAL PRESENTATION. Rev. argent. dermatol. [online]. 2019, vol.100, n.1, pp.109-112. ISSN 1851-300X.

Lichen planus is an inflammatory disease of multifactorial and sometimes unknown etiology, with multiple clinical varieties. The linear entity was first described in 1917, but it was not until 1993 that it received the name of Blaschkoid linear variety. More frequently seen among children, it is of particular interest its association with congenital syndromes and the environmental triggers involved in its pathogenesis. We present a 9-year-old female patient with a clinical picture of 4 years of evolution consisting of hyperpigmented macules on the left proximal medial thigh, which characteristically have had a linear distribution and in the last 6 months have spread into the groin and ipsilateral major lip.

Keywords : lichen planus blaschkoid; linear; Köebner; post-zygotic.
