Abstract

GIMENEZ, E M; GOMEZ, B R V; MOLINA, S  and  AUDI, V. Disseminated annular granuloma: on the purpose of a case. Rev. argent. dermatol. [online]. 2020, vol.101, n.4, pp.31-40. ISSN 1851-300X.

Annular granuloma is a relatively frequent disorder, the exact prevalence is unknown, it is more frequent in children and young adults. It is characterized by small grouped papules, in annular configuration, often with symmetric and acrid distribution. Most cases resolve spontaneously within 2 years, but the recurrence rate is 40%.

We present the clinical case of a 72-year-old patient with disseminated annular granuloma, treated with pentoxifylline, with good therapeutic results.

Keywords : disseminated annular granuloma; dapsone; pentoxifylline.
