A volumetric material verification plan which can be easily followed and an example of its practical application to the assessment of volumetric flasks are reported. The procedure would guarantee the reliability of analysis results, while ensuring that laboratories meet the requirements established by IRAM 301:2005 (ISO/IEC 17025:2005) standard.
